The bees were really swarming this morning before the rain storm. It’s amazing how they seem to know the weather is changing. We human beings seem to be the last to know. Is it that we’re so preoccupied with our “to do” lists and the cares of this world? We should never be too busy for God, His signs, and wonders, and we should never be too busy to enjoy the present - for it truly is a present to enjoy. He is the great I AM--He is now! Be aware of Him. The NFL has a new advertising campaign about focusing on the now. Something like, forget last season and the past, don’t get too far ahead in your thinking, but live and excel now. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-34 to not be so concerned about our needs. Live today, for tomorrow will take care of itself. He loves us and knows our needs and will provide for us. Like the birds, God provides for them. They are singing and rejoicing; let us do likewise. Proverbs 17:22, “A joyful heart is good medicine.” The Men’s Good Hands Ministry will meet Saturday, September 13, at 8 a.m. in the Chuck Wagon Restaurant and then go do good work. Join us in the fun. ~ Bob Kerby |
