God created the heavens and the earth by His words. The whole creation was made by and responds to words. Our words, when spoken in faith, release either life or death and will affect people, things, and circumstances. We can release the power that is in faith by our words. Every word counts. There is no such thing as “idle” words which will not work for us or against us. Our words can be our most powerful weapon against the devil or they can also become a snare of the devil. Faith-filled words can move mountains. If we speak words in faith that line up with God’s Word, then we will have positive results. However, if we continue to speak words of doubt, we will eventually believe them and have the negative things these words produce. Death and life are in the power of every word we speak. Faith is released by speaking words. Jesus encouraged us to speak to mountains or whatever our problem might be. Most of us speak to God about the problem. However, we must remember His instructions and speak directly to the mountain (problem). God put certain things under our authority and we must exercise that authority. When a problem stands in our way we must speak to the problem and command it to get out of our way in the Name of Jesus. So as we travel this life, and while we are participating in our Small Groups, let us always speak God’s Word, as His Word will produce life. ~ Joe |
