“Putting women in touch with the God of Hope.”

I want to thank those ladies that attended our August meeting. I hope the Beth Moore’s teaching on “Approaching God’s Word” has given you a fresh approach to studying the Bible, and that the Word you read is alive and speaking to you each day. Recently, I was experiencing problems sleeping. I would awake continually and not be rested the next morning. Finally, after a couple of weeks, I decided to see what God’s Word had to say. I found two scriptures that seemed to jump off the page for me (1) Psalm 4:8 says, “I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone God make me dwell in safety”; and (2) Proverbs 3:24 says, “When you lie down, you will not be afraid - yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.” I quote these two scriptures each night claiming them for myself. I now am sleeping peaceably and feeling well-rested each morning. I encourage you to find a scripture that will produce results in your life that will make you the overcomer that God wants you to be.
